Shanghai 上海 is located on the southern estuary of the Yangtze. Huangpu River flows through it. With a population of 26.32million as of 2019, it is the most populous urban area in China and the second most populous city in the world.

The Shanghai Metro system is the world's largest rapid transit system by route length totaling 676 kilometers / 420 miles. It is the second largest by the number of stations with 413 stations on 16 lines.
In May 28, 1993 – Southern section of Line 1 entered operation from Shanghai South Railway Station to Xujiahui. 16 years ago, the length was only 4.4 km / 2.7 mi.

Inspired by Shanghai City, its Roads, Subway-lines, Parks and Rivers; this beautiful rug has been designed in silk and wool with intricate network of curves. The combination of relief and finest chinese silk captures the light and provides changing eclat and glint. From a soft and shading light blue to a deep and pale navy blue dotted with green, the color palette makes this carpet both delicat and modern.

2009 - 02 - 09

The "Television Cultural Center" CCTV Tower, with the Beijing Mandarin Oriental being its main tenant took fire on Monday night, February 09th 2009, ignited by ambitious fireworks during Chinese New Year celebrations. Located on the 3rd Ring Road East in Beijing.
The blaze marked the end of a Year of the Rat that saw Beijing host the 2008 Olympics. Construction was started in 2004 and was expected to be completed 3 months later, in May 2009

The innovative, wedge-shaped building was designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas [Office for Metropolitan Architecture] and its ‘architecture actually contributed to the speed and size of the conflagration.

Its nicknames include the “Termite's Nest”, “ le Pantalon” or the “Boot” because of its radical design. The Tower, along with the CCTV Headquarters Building, was built using far less steel than conventional skyscrapers, clad in glistening titanium zinc alloy and designed to withstand major earthquakes. The radical structure gives the towers their form. In all, 140,000 tons of steel was used in its construction. The total height of the 44-floor building was 159 meters (522ft).

As simple as it can be. Pure city abstraction...

RGB

In computer screens and display systems, each PIXEL is defined by 3 bytes: 1 Red, 1 Green and 1 Blue. This Sub-PIXEL system is called "RGB color" or "True Color".
Each of these 3 Bytes are coded with 8 bits of 0's and 1's like this combination 01001011. It provides 2^8 = 256 intensities (or brightness) from 0 to 255.
If R=255 + G=255 + B=255 we get a “pure white” PIXEL,
If R=0 + G=0 + B=0 we get a “pure black” PIXEL.
Yellow should then be R=255 + G=255 + B=0
Such system where each component can take 256 different levels of intensity provides a total of 256 x 256 x 256=16,777,216 colors.
The human eye can only discern about 10 million different colors, so this RGB “True color” system aka 24-bits color palette is sufficient to cover the full range of human color perception fairly accurately.

1-bit colors hold only 2 colors and is known as Monochrome
2-bits colors is CGA (corresponding to 2^2=4 colors)
4-bits colors EGA (corresponding to 2^4= 2x2x2x2 =16 colors)
8-bits colors VGA (corresponding to 2^8=256 colors)
16-bits color refers to High Color system or XGA corresponding to 2^16=65,536 colors.
32-bits color supports 16,77,215 colors same as 24-bits. The difference comes from an additional alpha channel.

this is Fibanacci sequance

Our favorite collection of numbers each number is the sum of the previous two, the Fibonacci numbers can be appreciated in many different ways.
Fibonacci numbers appear in nature surprisingly often. The number of petals on a flower is typically a Fibonacci numbers, or the number of spirals on a sunflower, or pineapple tends to be a Fibonacci numbers as well.
In fact, there are many more applications of Fibonacci numbers but what I find most inspirational about them are the beautiful number patterns they display.
